How to use HTML tags
Welcome to HTML 3rd Tutorial. We will learn here about HTML tags. Browsers identify different parts of web page from HTML tags. HTML tags are Basic elements of a HTML document. Every tag should be in proper position and format to work. This lesson will cover HTML basic and commonly used tags and its complete description and syntax.
HTML document always start with this tag I mean HTML tag its basic structure of a HTML document as we discussed in our previous lesson HTML Code & Basic Structure.Before learning further please start your XAMPP server and open up your Project folder. Which we already has created. In previous lesson if you don’t know about XAMPP server then go here and learn How to setup XAMPP server.
Open index file of your project in Sublime Text and write code as below
This is simplest structure of HTML tag. We started HTML tag and closed below using / Back Slash. Its necessary to close every tag when we open it. Just type this code in your text editor and save it we will test it latter now after completing this lesson.
Right after HTML tag HEAD tag appears. This tag is basically for browsers and search engines. In HEAD tag we write information’s like Meta tags document discretion and keyword and TITLE tag itself. Most information’s here in this tag is not visible for users.

Don’t forget to close HEAD tag.
Its basically title of your website or web page. You will see this title in your browsers title bar. <TITLE> This is site title for CodeClick.net</TITLE> your title will goes here between title opening tag and closing tag as well. Don’t be confuse its very simple just you need to understand what is going behind its very basic level of web designing. So keep reading again and again. And add some more code to your project.

This is the main TAG or place in HTML document and Tags. Actually BODY tag holds all visibility of website. That is what you see in your browser window like Text Boxes Menus, Buttons, Paragraph mean everything in your website is written in Body area. There are many other tags HTML which we will learn in next lessons. So now we are able to completely understand basic HTML structure and Tags.
Now add BODY tag in your project file and lets close this lesson for now.

All visible data for your website will goes between body start tag and body end tag.
